The manual is in the package

Many Sundays back I heard my Pastor say, “Some of you need to know your consecration!” And that got me thinking… Isn’t it said that, ‘What’s good for the goose is good for the gander?’… well not quite. That rule doesn’t apply all the time. What’s good for the goose is NOT always good for the gander.

Some people can read perfectly well and unperturbed even with an earthquake wrecking the place apart. While others will lose their sanity trying to hold their focus in that kind of raucous.  What is your consecration? For Samson in the Bible, (before he was born) his mother was warned not to drink strong wine, nor use a blade on his hair once he was born. That was the environment required for his unusual strength to manifest.

What is your conducive environment? You may want to search Google for clues but the answer isn’t that far fetched. The manual is in the package. Look within and ask yourself some key questions, such as: When am I usually my best self? When am I most creative, or a better listener? What triggers my mojo?

We are all wired differently. What works for the girl/guy next door may not work for you. Perhaps its time to read the manual. Discover your true, authentic self. Each of us were created with a special code which God predestined before creation began. And that code has been written into our DNAs and by faith we are not only to discover it, but explore it and live by it.

Judges 13:5
You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines. NIV

Ephesians 2:10
For ye are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. – NKJV
