Identity Crisis

Who are we? Why are we here? What are we about? These are questions to roll over in our minds daily if we must live a truly purposeful life.  Perhaps you’ve been pondering these sort of questions yourself. Wondering who you are, why you were ever born, and what you are about.

Perhaps you are contemplating your walk with God. Am I truly a christian? What should my life express? What is true Christianity about? You’ve been born again a long time but if you’ll be honest, you sometimes get conflicted. You’re conflicted about the quality of life you’re living; if it is substantial or substandard – by God’s measuring rod.

This not about comparing notes; how many temptations did I overcome this week? How many times did I pay my tithe this year? No, that’s not what this is about. This is about a deep inner stirring that is calling you to represent! A deep inner yearning that is calling you to come up higher. This is about the call to Sonship! A call to join the Elite Force of God. A call to represent God’s Kingdom here on earth.

This is something huge. This is big. This is serious business. So let’s start with the first bone of contention; Who are we? We are the Sons of God. Who are you? You are a Son of God. Who is a son? Well, that’s a topic for another day. Ponder this first of all and maybe you can volunteer some answers next time when I get back.
