STRENGTHENED FOR ACTION

• You must grow in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord in order to bear fruit that matters to God—this is the secret of genuine strength (Colossians 1:9–11). If you do not grow in this area, all your labour will be an exercise in futility.
• While you grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, you must remain firmly attached to Him to receive the grace required to produce fruit that matters to God, so that you may receive genuine strength from Him.
• If you grow steadily in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, by the time you deploy the tools of technological innovation in the things you do, you will become unstoppable in your field of endeavour (2 Peter 1:1–4).
• When grace and peace are multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, there will be tangible growth in your life, because growth is clear evidence of grace.
• Do not listen to those who think you can continue in sin so that grace may abound. Do not pay attention to those who worship at the altar of lasciviousness and attempt to cover it with grace. Some people say, “After all, we are not in the dispensation of the law; we are in the dispensation of grace.” Yet the man to whom God gave the law found grace in the sight of God (Acts 11:19–24, Exodus 33).
• As believers, we should be growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, and there should be clear evidence of this growth in our lives, even in this fallen world (2 Peter 3:7–18).
• The essence of the CGCC benediction is that we want to please God at all costs, and He has equipped us with the tools to live in a way that is well-pleasing to Him (Hebrews 13:20–21).
