THE NON-NEGOTIABLE FOUNDATION OF HEAVEN’S RULE
- Every functional kingdom has a king, and wherever there is a true king, there is a throne. The throne is the symbol of the king’s rule and wherever the throne of God is, the rule of God is there (Deuteronomy 33:5, Jeremiah 3:17).
- Each time we resist the rule of God, the throne of God to manifest in our lives, we begin to yield to an evil heart. An evil heart arrests growth, and it takes you backwards, not forward (Jeremiah 17:9; 7:21–24).
- Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne (Psalm 89). Where the throne of God is established, righteousness must be there, and justice must be there. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice because the righteous execute the blueprints of the kingdom of God (Proverbs 29:2).
- Justification is the divine act of God declaring a sinner righteous, acquitted and free from the guilt of sin through faith in Jesus (Acts 13:38–39). We are not justified by keeping the law, but through Christ alone. This is the justice of God working on our behalf.
- All of creation, including man, has been corrupted by sin (Romans 3:23, Genesis 6:11–12, Romans 8:20–22). God’s just nature means He cannot overlook unrighteousness. But through one man’s obedience, the Lord Jesus brought the free gift of righteousness to all men, resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:18–19).
