THE GOOD SEED
- When prophecies come forth, they are not meant to hang in the air; we are supposed to birth those prophecies in prayers, ensuring that the word of God sent to us becomes a reality in our lives and communities.
- For the word of God to become what it intends to become in our lives, the seed of God’s word must be grounded in our lives.
- It takes prayers to find the grace to obey and follow through on God’s instructions.
- In the vocabulary of heaven, there is what is called the “appointed time.” When that appointed time comes, nothing can stop the hand of God from moving on your behalf.
- If God has said He will bring your dream to fulfilment, you can take it to the bank that He will do so (Genesis 39:2; THE GOOD SEED 39:4-6; 40:14; 41:37-44, Habakkuk 2:3, Proverbs 10:28; 23:18).
- God’s covenant with Abraham concerning the seed was central to God’s plan for the redemption of mankind. God planned that through Abraham’s seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3).
- The promise God made to Abraham was later transferred to his seed, Isaac, the son of promise. Because of his obedience, Isaac was able to partake in what God had given to Abraham (Genesis 22:15- 18).
- Jesus Christ is the ultimate manifestation of the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham (Galatians 3:15- 16).
- God made a distinction between the seed and the descendants . This distinction is critical because it separates carnal believers (who are earthly bound and overly fixated on physical and material blessings) from spiritual believers (whose primary focus is on things above and how to advance God’s kingdom and be a channel of blessing).
- Anyone who, by faith, has received Christ and is baptised into Him by the Holy Spirit, is qualified to be a seed of God (Galatians 3:15- 16, 1 Corinthians 12:12, Galatians 3:26-29).
- The seed that births us is indestructible. It means we are also indestructible (1 Peter 1:22-25, TPT).
- The only way we can be pure and holy is by obeying the truth of the word of God. It is in obeying God’s word that we are purified. Without the purification, it is impossible for us to love as God wants us to (Ephesians 5:26-27). We cannot truly love with a rebellious and polluted heart. Therefore, it is the purifying of our soul that empowers us to be full of love for saints.
